Terms of service
Last updated 18 September 2026
What this covers
These terms apply to Acciti, a service that delivers notifications you ask it to deliver. Using the service means agreeing to them.
Your account
You sign in with a passkey, or with a code sent to your address. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sending tokens private. A sending token can send messages in your name to anyone holding one of your user keys.
Tell us at [email protected] if you think a credential has leaked. You can revoke any sending token yourself from the dashboard, which takes effect immediately.
What you may not send
The service may not be used to send:
- messages to people who have not given you their user key
- unsolicited marketing of any kind
- anything unlawful, or content you have no right to send
- automated volume intended to disrupt the service or a recipient
A user key is how a recipient consents to being reached. Obtaining one and then using it for something the recipient did not expect is the thing these rules exist to prevent.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, by the month or by the year. You can cancel at any time from the billing screen, and a cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the period already paid for.
Prices can change. Any change applies from your next renewal, never to a period already paid for, and you will be told before it takes effect.
A plan that ends or moves down pauses the capabilities it carried rather than deleting them. Heartbeats, connectors, rotations and escalation policies stop firing, stay readable, and work again when the plan comes back. Everybody already in a team keeps their access; the next invitation is refused.
Payments already taken are not refunded for time you did not use, with one exception: if the service was unusable for a material part of a period and you ask, we will refund that period.
Allowances
Each plan includes a number of messages per calendar month. A message is one send, however many of your devices it reaches. Past the allowance, sends are refused with a 429 naming the date it resets. Going over is never billed as overage.
Availability
The service is provided as it is, without a guarantee that every message arrives: delivery depends on Apple's push service and on the device being reachable. Do not use it as the only alert for something where a missed notification is unacceptable.
There is no uptime commitment attached to these terms. Maintenance that is expected to interrupt delivery is announced in advance where it can be.
Your content
The messages you send remain yours. We store them to deliver them and to show you your history, for as long as your plan's retention window, and we do not read them except where necessary to run the service or where the law requires it.
Suspension
An account may be suspended without notice if it is being used for something in the list above, or if its traffic threatens the service for everyone else. Where notice is possible, it is given first.
You can close your account at any time. Closing it deletes your messages, devices and passkeys.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to what you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Changes
These terms can change. Material changes are announced by email to the address on your account before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always says when it was last revised.
Law
Danish law applies, and the Danish courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove protections you have under the law of the country you live in.
