Opsgenie alternative: Acciti vs Opsgenie
Opsgenie stops working on 5 April 2027. If your team used it to page whoever is on call and to watch scheduled jobs, Acciti does both at one price for the whole team. If you need phone calls, SMS, Android or an incident timeline, Jira Service Management or PagerDuty fits better.

Choose Opsgenie if
- You already pay for Jira Service Management Premium, which keeps heartbeats and voice calls after the move.
- Someone on the rota carries an Android phone.
- You need phone calls or SMS as a fallback when push fails.
- You run incidents with a timeline, stakeholders and postmortems, not only alerts.
Choose Acciti if
- You used Opsgenie to wake the right person, and the rest of Jira Service Management is more than you need.
- Your heartbeats would otherwise need a Premium plan after the move.
- Everyone on call uses an iPhone, and an Apple Watch or Mac helps.
- You want a flat price for the team instead of a price per responder.
Moving from Opsgenie
- 1Export your schedules, escalation policies and heartbeat list from Opsgenie before the end of support.
- 2Create an Acciti team, invite everyone on the rota and build the same rotation and escalation policy.
- 3Replace each heartbeat URL in your cron jobs with an Acciti heartbeat URL.
- 4Point your alert sources at Acciti: a connector for Grafana, Sentry or Better Stack, or a POST to the messages API for your own scripts.
- 5Send a test emergency with the policy attached and check that it climbs the rota when nobody acknowledges.

- When does Opsgenie shut down?
- Atlassian stopped selling Opsgenie on 4 June 2025 and ends support on 5 April 2027. After that date access stops and any data that was not migrated is deleted.
- Do Opsgenie heartbeats survive the move to Jira Service Management?
- Only on Jira Service Management Premium and Enterprise. Teams moving to Free or Standard lose heartbeats, voice notifications and incoming call routing, according to Atlassian's own feature table.
- Is Grafana OnCall a free replacement?
- Not the open-source edition. Grafana archived it on 24 March 2026, and its mobile push, SMS and phone alerts stopped working. Grafana points those users to its paid cloud product.
- Does Acciti call or text when push fails?
- No. Acciti delivers through Apple's push service to iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac, and as web push. An emergency repeats until someone acknowledges it and then moves to the next person on call.
