What counts as a message?

One send, however many of your devices it reaches. A message that lights up your phone, your watch and your Mac counts once.

What happens when I reach the allowance?

Further sends get a 429 that names the date your allowance resets. You're never billed for overage, and nothing is dropped without telling you.

What happens if my team downgrades?

Anything the new plan doesn't include is paused, with its setup kept, and starts working again when you upgrade. Everyone already on the team keeps access, even past the new plan's member limit, and new invitations are refused.

What happens if a payment fails?

Alerts keep arriving while Stripe retries your card, or while Apple retries an App Store payment. Paid features pause once the retries run out.

Can I buy a plan in the iPhone or Mac app?

Yes. Every paid plan is also sold in the app, billed by Apple at the App Store's price for your country. A plan bought there is changed or cancelled in your Apple subscriptions. Each team pays through the website or the App Store, not both.
